A new instrument of state support of farms can be earned in Russia - the government intends to simplify access of farm products to retail chains. The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has prepared a draft resolution of the government of the Russian Federation, which provides for partial compensation of farmer's expenses for the promotion of their products to the market.
It is assumed that a new measure of support will be extended to farmers and their associations, while support will not affect production cooperatives. The draft resolution says that farmers will be reimbursed up to 50 percent of the costs of contracts for the promotion of their food products. Funds for these purposes will be allocated from the federal budget and sent to the regions.
