June 15, 2017, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Khatuov held a meeting on the development of the market for deep grain processing, including increasing the production of fodder lysine, Svetitsch reported with reference to the press service of the Federal Agrarian Ministry.
Opening the meeting, Dzhambulat Khatuov said that the domestic market continues to depend on the supply of imported products of deep grain processing. Between, in his opinion, a large volume of grain production in Russia creates a high potential not only for import substitution, but also for the export of products of deep grain processing.
Growth of poultry and pig production increases the consumption of amino acids, probiotics, vitamins and enzymes, including fodder lysine. For the purposes of import substitution, Russian companies are implementing projects for deep grain processing. The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects for the development of the fodder lysine market, as well as the main problems of creating facilities for deep grain processing.
