The Ministry of Agriculture proposed introducing a meat-and-bone flour into the sanctions list

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia appealed to the Government of Russia with a proposal to introduce a meat-and-bone meal in the sanctions list, as described by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

This proposal was already voiced by the representatives of the agrarian department of the country two months earlier. The Ministry of Agriculture argued the proposal that it would help stimulate the Russian production of meat recyclable materials, which was fully supported by domestic feed producers, who assure that the meat and bone meal produced by them is comparable in quality to the European one.

Despite this, experts do not exclude the possibility of replacing European meat recyclables with Brazilian, Chilean and New Zealand. There is a possibility of a sharp rise in prices due to the fall in domestic production and the growth of imports of ready-made feed, to the establishment of new supplies.
