The introduction of compulsory electronic veterinary certification of goods in Russia is postponed from January 1 to July 1, 2018. Domestic producers of meat and dairy products will be able to take advantage of the postponement without sanctions.
"Finally, this issue will be resolved by the State Duma, now there is only an order to carry out the transfer," Nikolai Vlasov, deputy head of Rosselkhoznadzor, explained to Rossiyskaya Gazeta. "Its implementation will require changes in the federal law, and for this there is very little time left."
Experts believe that the automated system of electronic certification 'Mercury' will allow to track the movement of goods from the initial producer of raw materials to the seller of the final product.
