The Russian authorities do not plan to return the export duty on wheat, the likelihood of introducing other quantitative or customs tariff restrictions on the market is also extremely low, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
"We do not have any plans to introduce an export duty on grain, which can be a force majeure measure in the most critical situation, the latest measure that could be applied on the Russian grain market taking into account the current situation," Dvorkovich added. "Such situations can be repeated, but the probability of combining all the factors is simultaneously very low. The likelihood of introducing quantitative or customs tariff restrictions on the grain market is also low."
