Training seminar on artificial insemination

The training seminar on artificial insemination was held from January 31 to February 2, 2017 within the framework of Omsky Biocluster's Genetics and Breeding of Cattle Practice on the basis of the SIBAGROCOMPLEX Group (member of Omsky Biocluster). Specialists from the farms of Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Omsk regions came to study.

 

The training program was very intensive. On the first day, a short theoretical training and a visit to the production site of the meat processing concern Kompur were held. Specialists trained in animals intended for slaughter, various methods of artificial insemination of cows and transrectal studies. Also, specialists studied the structure of the reproductive system on the slaughter preparations, which is very important for understanding the anatomical and physiological foundations of artificial insemination.

 

The next day was completely devoted to the practical mastering of the skills of transrectal research and artificial insemination in animals Ogluhinskoye LLC Krutinsky district of Omsk region. The condition of the reproductive organs of 127 heads was evaluated, so the students acquired good practical experience.

 

The final day included theoretical training on the organization of herd reproduction and practical classes on working with seeds, including the preparation of an artificial insemination station, the thawing and evaluation of the quality of the seed.

 

Based on the results of the training, the participants of the seminar were given certificates of completion of the advanced training.
