In the near future, the educational and scientific center for endoscopic surgery of the Veterinary Clinic of Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) will open. It will be the first specialized center in Omsk to teach the manual skills of surgery on large biological objects.
This is a joint project of Omsk State Medical University, the West Siberian Center of the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia and the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology of OmSAU in the framework of tripartite cooperation. The Educational and Scientific Center for Endoscopic Surgery of the University Veterinary Clinic is aimed at educational, research and innovation activities. The goal is the formation of a modern effective corporate system for training qualified personnel for performing tasks in the field of medicine and veterinary medicine.
In the near future, the staff and young scientists of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology of OmSAU will be given the opportunity to carry out research and scientific and technical projects in the field of veterinary medicine using minimally invasive endovideosurgical technologies, which is the main direction in the development of both humanitarian and veterinary surgery. In the long term, it is planned to introduce these technologies into a wide clinical practice. In addition, the use of modern technologies and equipment is one of the main conditions in the implementation of educational standards and the training of veterinary specialists with high competitiveness in the labor market.
