Veterinary laboratory: five milk samples do not meet the standards

In May 2017, 168 samples were taken to the Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor, with which 527 tests were conducted. As a result, specialists from the Omsk Reference Center (member of Omsky Biocluster) have identified 22 cases of non-compliance with regulatory documentation.

 

Excess of total bacterial contamination was found in four samples of raw cow's milk, samples of semi-finished products from poultry and pork. Bacteria of E. coli group are found in cottage cheese, butter, pasteurized milk, two samples of beef. Pathogenic microorganisms of the genus Salmonella are found in the calf shanks. Pathogenic microorganisms of the genus Listeria are identified in a sample of beef offal. Two samples of canned vegetables did not meet the standards of industrial sterility. Excess of the bacterium index of the E. coli group was found in four soil samples. Exceeding the index of enterococci was found in two soil samples.
