Vladimir Putin appointed Alexander Burkov by acting Governor of Omsk region

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin appointed Alexander Burkov by temporary acting Governor of Omsk region. The head of state today held a working meeting with Alexander Burkov, at which President informed him of his decision.

 

Alexander Burkov was born on April 23, 1967 in the Sverdlovsk region. He graduated from the Heat and Power Department of the Ural Polytechnic Institute named after Kirov. September 18, 2016 was elected to the State Duma on the federal list of JUST RUSSIA party, was deputy head of the faction in the State Duma.

 

The decree of the head of state came into force on November 9, 2017.
