October 27, 2016, Extraordinary Conference of Omsk Chamber of Commerce (CCI) at the Regional Expocentre held. Members of Omsk CCI Conference are delegates elected at meetings of enterprises and organizations.
The conference started with the welcoming words to the delegates to the Conference and the ceremony of awarding the members of Omsk Chamber of Commerce diplomas, certificates and letters of appreciation for their contribution to the economy and entrepreneurship of Omsk region and active participation in the activities of Chamber. Then a solemn ceremony of signing of the Anti-Corruption Public Charter of Russian business leaders and representatives of business associations and entrepreneurs of Omsk region and presentation of the certificate. Among the signatories: Omsk regional branch of All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises 'SUPPORT OF RUSSIA'; Omsk regional branch of "Business Russia" All-Russian public organization; Omsk regional public organization 'Omsk cooks Association'; Omsk regional public organization 'Protection of Consumer Rights'; Organization 'Professional realtors Omsk region'; Regional public organization 'Omsk regional Union of Entrepreneurs'; Non-profit organization 'Union of Omsk trade organizations'; Non-commercial partnership 'Omsk Union of Realtors' and Lipatov PE. Tatiana Khoroshavina, President of Omsk CCI, opened and led the conference. She gave a presentation on the Chamber's activities for the years 2013 -2016. Assessing the activities of Omsk Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the authorities and the business community of Omsk region noted the leading role of Omsk Chamber of Commerce to present and protect the interests of entrepreneurs in the region. Minister of Economy of Omsk region Oksana Fadina in his speech stressed the fruitful cooperation separately for foreign economic and interregional projects, the active role of CCI in the regulatory impact assessment in matters of national rankings. Board Member of Omsk CCI Nina Karpenko highly appreciated the assistance of the Chamber in enhancing the effectiveness of the implementation in Omsk region '6.5 Program' and noted the high professional level of CCI experts in all areas of activity, active work in the public council at the federal, regional and municipal authorities. Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Omsk Eldar Kunaev and participants of foreign economic activity separately noted the merits of Omsk Chamber in the development of international and interregional activities of Omsk region, in promoting business in entering foreign markets. Omsk CCI members actively participate in the activities of the Chamber in the format of B2B, B2G, R2R. Member of the Board of Omsk CCI Svetlana Galkina underlined the competitiveness of services provided by the Chamber to the business, pay attention to the new trend in sphere of education, noted the need to develop the activities of the CCI in the field of higher education institutions certification, an independent assessment of qualification, participation in training, in including in the field of public procurement. Separately Svetlana Galkina paid attention to the issue of the participation of experts - members of the Chamber in the preparation of technical regulations and standards. The main issue of the conference was the question of the adoption of the new edition of the Charter of the Union 'Omsk Chamber of Commerce'. Delegates unanimously approved a new edition of the Charter of the Chamber. The project was adopted in accordance with the recommendations of CCI of Russia and the law: Federal Law 'On the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation', which entered into force on December 30, 2015; statement at the VII Congress of the Russian Chamber of Commerce of the new edition of the Charter of Russian Chamber of Commerce, which provides for approval of a new edition of the Charter of Omsk CCI. Also, the statutory documents were adopted. The Conference addressed the issue of the election of Omsk CCI governing bodies: the Board of Union 'Omsk Chamber of Commerce'. In a separate speech to participants of the conference covered issues of realization of cluster policy in the Russian Federation, and the current status of work on the inclusion of Omsky Biocluster in the register of industrial clusters Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia.
