A working meeting between Anatoly Shulakov, the head of Omsky Biocluster’s Genetics and Breeding of Cattle Practice, and Maksim Chekusov, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region, was held. The issues discussed at the business meeting were related to the prospects of cooperation in supporting of livestock development in Omsk region.
Anatoly Shulakov told about the positive experience of cooperation between SIBAGROCOMPLEX Group (the Practice operator) and the executive authorities and economic entities of Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Kemerovo regions; the organization and holding of international conferences, regional competitions, exhibitions and training workshops for livestock experts in the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
Anatoly Shulakov says, "The Minister highlighted that it is necessary to make use of Omsky Biocluster's achievements in Omsk region. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region, Omsky Biocluster and SIBAGROCOMPLEX Group have set out the main lines of action in order to increase the productivity of dairy cattle in Omsk region. The following joint activities are considered among the main ones: seminars, training and skill development courses for breeders and specialists on artificial insemination, informational support on reproduction and breeding for local farmers, regional meetings on cattle breeding".
