Russian scientists invented a new bio additive

Russian scientists came up with how to enrich the nutrition of farm animals with digestible proteins and carbohydrates. Answer: use of alcohol production waste. According to the authors, the new additive is suitable for poultry, fish, cattle and bees. It helps to achieve an increase in the mass of the animal with a decrease in feed consumption, DairyNews.ru reports.

The cost of cereals is growing all over Russia

During the last week of April, cereals in the domestic Russian market were actively growing in price in all grain-growing regions. Only corn in the south of the country and in the North Caucasus region, as well as food rye in Siberia and the Urals became an exception. They retained the price values of the previous week. The power of agricultural machinery is decreasing in Russia

The energy capacity of agricultural machinery in Russia is falling. In 2017, they amounted to 90.2 million hp, which is lower than the indicators for 2016 by 2.3%, and indicators for 2012 - by 12%. The number of units at the end of 2017 also decreased - tractors by 3% compared to 2016, combine harvesters - by 2.8%, forage harvesters - by 4.4%, seeders - by 5.6%.

Veterinarians summed up the results of April

In April, 185 samples were taken to the Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster), with which 548 tests were conducted. As a result, experts identified 15 cases of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documentation.

Q1 2018, the export of agricultural products in value terms amounted to $ 4.7 billion, which is $ 960 million more than in 2017, or by 25.9% (excluding trade with the EAEC countries).
