Certification Center of Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) confirmed the status, while increasing the scope of accreditation (the order of the Federal Accreditation Service No. PC1-1522 dated July 12, 2017). 
Russian Agricultural Bank (the Omsk branch is member of Omsky Biocluster) has received the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia for inclusion in the register of potential borrowers of the next applications (the agrarian's concessional lending program). The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia promptly agreed upon all applications of the Bank's customers. As a result, RusAg was able to send agrarians of soft loans for investment purposes another 110 billion rubles ($ 1.87 billion). 
August 29, 2017, Agreement on the Omsky Biocluster's Collective Use Center establishment was signed. The founders of the Center became Omsky Biocluster, Omsk State Agrarian University, Omsk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Siberian Branch), Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor and Agrochemical Service Center Omsky. 
August 27 - 28, 2017, a Chinese business delegation visited Omsk region. The delegation includes the leader of seed oil production Luhua Group Co., Ltd and Baoshang Bank Limited the large bank of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 
August 24, 2017, seminar for management and regional partners of WWS Russia took place in Moscow. Participation in the event was attended by representatives of many regions of Russia (Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Mari El, Ryazan, Voronezh, Arkhangelsk, Lipetsk region, Krasnoyarsk Territory, etc.). August 14-18, 2017, Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster), with the assistance of CIMMYT, organized a visit of international experts on wheat stem rust. 
McDonalds says it will start globally rolling back use of antibiotics in its chicken products from 2018.
