Production of eggs and poultry in Russia increased slightly

For 9 months of 2018, poultry production for slaughter in live weight in all categories of Russian agro companies increased by 1.3% (+62.83K tons) and amounted to 4,867.5K tons. Egg production amounted to 34.33B pieces, which is 0.8% or 282M pieces more than the total of nine months of 2017, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
