US - EU: is dairy war coming?

US and other countries unite to oppose EU dairy purchases. The European Union's plan to buy up skim milk powder and butter from European producers is spurring U.S. producers to join in protest with farmers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay. The broad coalition says it is fearful the EU’s plan to purchase the dairy commodities at below-market prices and sell them into the international market will depress global prices and hurt non-European producers.

Omsk laboratory checked the quality of products

In April, the Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Products of Animal and Plant Origin, Feed and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 338 samples.

Titan-Agro: feed sales volumes are growing

April: results of veterinary tests

In April, 27 samples were received at the Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member), with which 873 tests were conducted. As a result, experts identified 48 cases of non-compliance with regulatory requirements.

Machine builders want to return grain export

The Rosspetsmash Association sent a letter to the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin with proposals to support manufacturers of specialized equipment. Russian machine builders asked the government to lift restrictions on grain exports, the export of which is prohibited from May 1 to July 1, as exporters chose a quota for this agricultural year.
