Veterinarians summed up the January results

Results of seed inspection in 2019

The number of pedigree cattle in Kazakhstan has grown 2.5 times

The result of eight years of reforming the beef cattle breeding sector was an increase in breeding stock. According to data at the beginning of 2019, the number of pedigree cattle of all breeds in Kazakhstan amounted to 824,000 heads, or 11.5% of the total cattle population. For comparison, in 2011 this figure was 5.6% of the total livestock of 5.7 million heads of cattle or 319,000 breeding stock.

Dairy inspection results
