July 10, LLC SIBAGROCOMPLEX-BIO LLC (Omsky Biocluster member) became the venue for the 38th regional competition of operators on artificial insemination of animals. The participants of the regional competition were 22 people from 22 districts of the region. The competition goal is to increase the value of the professional skill of the operators on artificial insemination of animals. 
The Ministry of Agriculture has reaffirmed the forecast for the grain harvest in Russia in 2019 in the amount of 118 million tons. The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev told reporters at the exhibition of advanced technologies in agricultural production "All-Russian Field Day - 2019". 
Specialists of the Laboratory of quality and safety of products of animal and vegetable origin, feed and environmental objects of the Omsk reference center of Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) within preparation for expanding the accreditation scope, participated in the Interlaboratory Comparative Testing (ICT) and confirmed their competence. 
Analysts of the KPMG consulting company, at the request of RBC, estimated the current results of the food embargo, which is five years old this August. One of the results of the food embargo was a rise in prices for consumers, and not only for products that were banned, analysts of KPMG concluded. At the same time, the Ministry of Agriculture as a whole estimates the results of five-year counter-sanctions as positive. 
The Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations and Surveys of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) in the first half of 2019 analyzed more than 15,000 samples, of which 1,814 samples were included in the state assignment. 
Judicial practice in the interests of the agro-industry is formed in the Sverdlovsk region. The Sverdlovsk Arbitration Court satisfied the claim of the Sverdlovskaya Poultry Farm to the Federal Service for the Supervision of Nature Management on the repeal of the prescription to develop a waste passport for chicken manure. The decision has not entered into force. 
The profitability of agricultural production in Russia in 2018 increased to 12.5% (including subsidies) versus 12% in 2017, according to the National Report on the implementation of the state program for the development of agriculture in 2018. Profitability excluding subsidies was 6.4% versus 5.3% a year earlier, Milknews reports.
In June, the Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 470 samples, with which 1,400 tests were conducted. As a result, experts identified 48 cases of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents.
