Uzbekistan buys Russian agricultural equipment

According to the Rosspetsmash Association, in 2018, deliveries of Russian agricultural equipment to the Republic of Uzbekistan increased compared to 2017 by a factor of 7.5 to 1.35 billion RUR ($ 20.71 million). Russian companies export a wide range of agricultural machinery to Uzbekistan: grain and forage harvesters, energy-efficient tractors, harrows, seeders, balers and other products, the portal agroxxi.ru reports.

Veterinarians report on the April results

In April, the Veterinary Expert Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 335 samples, with which 1,096 tests were conducted. As a result, experts identified 20 cases of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents.

Titan-Agro Laboratory confirmed the high quality standards of research

The Laboratory of the Pushkinsky Feed Mill Plant (included in Titan-Agro LLC, Omsky Biocluster member) successfully confirmed their competence. The check was carried out by specialists of the supervisory authority of Rosstandart of Russia - Omsk Center for Standardization and Metrology.

The authorities will monitor the grain delivery

The system of grain traceability throughout the whole production chain can be earned in December 2019, it follows from the notification of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia posted on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

Pork plans to fall

According to the Director General of the National Union of Swine Breeders Yuri Kovalev, last year Russia achieved self-sufficiency in pork, and production growth will continue in 2019. Industry resources will arrive, and the level of demand will not change significantly. As a result, the average wholesale prices will drop by 5-10% compared to last year.

Russia received the right to supply beef and pork to Hong Kong

Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) received an official letter from the Hong Kong authorities, which are allowed to supply pork, beef, as well as pork and beef by-products from Russia to Hong Kong. This was reported on May 6 by the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

OmSAU: First place in the national ranking among agricultural universities

On April 30, the rector of the Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member) Oksana Shumakova at a meeting of the academic council reported on the work of the university in 2018 according to the results of the self-examination procedure carried out in a planned manner. Omsk State Agrarian University in two nominations of the national university ranking (Internationalization, Socialization) took the 1st place among agricultural universities and the 2nd place in the Innovations nomination.
